I had never seen the movie Cool Hand Luke before I became adamant that 50 Eggs was the ad agency I wanted to work for in 2012. Determined to get the Creative Director’s attention, I recorded a video of myself eating fifty quail eggs, which went somewhat viral in the Miami restaurant community. I landed the job and was surprised—and delighted—to learn that 50 Eggs was not only the hospitality team behind some of my favorite local restaurants but also the creative visionaries of the NBA World Champion Miami HEAT. I spent a year sampling hot sauces, sipping on spiked tea, and cheering on the Big Three as this tiny agency’s one and only copywriter.
