In 2013, I was hired as the first-ever copywriter for the Miami Dolphins professional football team. It was an exciting time in the franchise’s history—the organization had just updated its logo for the first time in 15 years, and I was tasked with developing an accompanying brand campaign for the new identity. “Stronger Together” was soon plastered all over South Florida. A year later, I won my first EMMY Award for our two-part series profiling cornerback Brent Grimes called Under the Helmet.
In addition to working for the team, I also became the designated writer for the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders as well as all of the events at Sun Life Stadium, including the International Champions Cup, the International Soccer Series and Monster Jam.
